Department of English

The English department of Berhampore college started its journey in the year 1972 with its English Hons courses. Since then it is running its course as a full-fledged department. Presently the Hons course is running (1st yr. Hons) with almost two hundred students. The students of English department share a very good and healthy relationship with the teachers of this department. Presently the English department has three guest teachers, one part time teacher and one full-time teacher. The teachers of this department are very sincere, helpful and have a cordial relation with the students. The teachers try to solve the problems of the students.
